BW Men Throwers Compete at Findlay

FINDLAY, OHIO – The top Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor throwers competed at the unscored University of Findlay open meet.

Highlighting the meet was senior three-time NCAA Division III All-American Mitch Supan (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) who won the shot put and 35-pound weight throws.  He won the shot put with a throw of 53-feet and 11.75-inches and the weight throw with a toss of 58'2". He is currently ranked 10th in Division III in the shot put and 14th in the weight throw.

In addition, senior Zach Marinucci (Brunswick) was fourth in the shot put with a throw of 50'2.75" and seventh in the weight throw at 50'11". Also, freshman Tyler Burdoff (Painesville/ Riverside) was 10th in the shot put with a throw of 44'11.75", and seniorJake Buckey (Geneva) was ninth in the weight throw at 50'0.5" and 11th in the shot put.

The Yellow Jacket track and field teams are back in action on Friday, February 8 when BW hosts the Mid-February Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track at 5:00 p.m.
