BW Men's Track & Field Completes First Day of 49er Classic

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference senior Kenny Janosko (Mentor) placed seventh in the 5,000-meter run and senior Mitch Supan (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) also posted a top-10 finish as the Baldwin Wallace University men's outdoor track and field team competed on the first day of the University of North Carolina - Charlotte 49er Classic today (Friday, March 15, 2013) in Charlotte, N.C.  The meet was unscored.

Janosko clocked 14:51.69 to lead the Yellow Jacket men.

Supan came in 10th in the men's hammer throw after recording a 171-5.00 toss.

Freshman Tyler Burdoff (Painesville/ Riverside) placed second in his javelin flight and 19th overall after a toss of 149-5.00.

After competing in the second day of the 49er Classic, BW will return north and compete Saturday, March 30 at the Ohio Athletic Conference East Split Meet at Marietta College.
