KENT, OHIO –  Seven of the Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's throwers ended the 2013 indoor season today at the unscored Kent State University Open Meet.

Throwing for the Yellow Jacket men were senior three-time NCAA Division III All-American Mitch Supan (Medina/Walsh Jesuit) senior Zach Marinucci (Brunswick), senior Jake Buckey (Geneva), and freshman Tyler Burdorff (Painesville / Riverside). Supan finished fifth overall in weight throw with a distance of 63' 3". Marinucci finished 23rd overall in weight throw with a distance of 48' 10" and finished 11th in shot put with a toss of 51' 3¾". Buckey finished 16th overall in weight throw with a distance of 52' 4" and finished 21st in shot put with a toss of 45' 8½". Burdorff finished 30th overall in weight throw with a distance of 46' 6" and finished 27th in shot put with a toss of 44' 9¾".

The 2013 outdoor season begins on Friday and Saturday, March 8-9 when the Yellow Jackets travel to South Carolina to compete at the Coastal Carolina University Relays. After spending March 10-14 in Florida training, the BW men and women head to compete at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte 49er Invitational Meet on Friday and Saturday, March 15-16.
