BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University senior thrower Mitch Supan (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) was named Ohio Athletic Conference men's field performer of the week for his achievements in three events at last weekend's UNC - Charlotte 49er Classic.
Supan, a three-time All-American, recorded the nation's best hammer throw (187'1"), second-best shot put (55'0.25") and third-best discus throw (174'5") as the Yellow Jackets competed at the UNC - Charlotte 49er Classic. He finished in the top-10 in all three events.
The men's and women's track and field teams are idle until Saturday, March 30 when they travel to Marietta for the annual OAC East Split Squad Meet.
