BEREA, OHIO --  Baldwin Wallace University senior three-time NCAA Division III All-American thrower Mitch Supan (Medina/Walsh Jesuit) has been named as Ohio Athletic Conference Field Athlete-of-the-Week for his performance at the season opening BW Mid-January Meet.

Supan earned his third OAC Men's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week honor and fourth overall (one for outdoor track) of his career for winning the 35-pound weight throw and the shot put as the Yellow Jackets placed second as a team. He threw the weight 57-feet and 6.25 inches to place first and rank 10th nationally and won the shot put with a toss of 52' 9.5" to rank 12th nationally.

Supan and the Yellow Jackets are back in action this Saturday, Jan. 26 when the travel to Alliance, Ohio to compete in the Ohio Athletic Conference North Split Squad Meet at the University of Mount Union in the McPherson Academic & Athletic Center. Action begins at 5:00 p.m.
