BW's Josh Price Finishes Fifth In Pentathlon

BEREA, OHIO --  Baldwin Wallace University freshman Josh Price (North Olmsted) finished fifth in the men's pentathlon at the 2011 Ohio Wesleyan University Pentathlon today (Saturday, February 19) in the Branch Rickey Fieldhouse in Delaware.

Price, competing in his first collegiate pentathlon, scored 3,245 points. He was fourth in the 55-meter hurdles in 8.16 seconds for 793 points, third in the long jump with a leap of 20"9.75' for 661 points, fifth in the shot put with a throw of 36"9.5' for 559 points, seventh in the high jump with a jump of 5"8.75' for 585 points and sixth in the 800-meter run in 3:01.76 for 647 points.

The Yellow Jackets track and field teams are back in action this Friday and Saturday, Feb. 25-26 when they host the 2011 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Track & Field Championship Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse. Action begins on Friday, Feb. 25 at 12:00 noon and resumes on Saturday, Feb. 26 at 10:00 a.m.

To date, the BW men have won titles at the Mid-January Meet, the All-Ohio Meet and last night and own a 37-1 record.
