Volleyball Serves Up 2019 Schedule

BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University volleyball team, under the direction of first-year Head Coach Kacie Ehinger, opens the 2019 campaign as it travels to Cortland, New York to compete in the Red Dragon Classic hosted by Cortland University on Friday and Saturday, August 30 and 31.

Other tournaments the Yellow Jackets will then partake in are the Franklin College Tournament, hosted by Franklin (Ind.) College, on Friday and Saturday, September 6 and 7. The following weekend on Friday, Saturday September 13 and 14, BW will compete in the Ginny Hunt Kilt Classic hosted by The College of Wooster. Road action continues with a tri-match at Hiram College on Friday, September 20 and Saturday, September 21. BW will wrap up tournament play with the Blue Jay Classic on Friday and Saturday, September 27 and 28, hosted by Elizabethtown (Pa.) College.

The Yellow Jackets will square off against Case Western Reserve University for their non-conference finale on September 18.

BW will open Ohio Athletic Conference action when they travel to Bexley to take on Capital University on October 5. The Yellow Jackets will also play OAC contests on the road against Ohio Northern University, Heidelberg University, Wilmington College, and Marietta College. 

BW's first home match is on October 12 when they welcome Otterbein University to Ursprung Gymnasium at 1 p.m. The other home matches for the Yellow Jackets are against Muskingum University, John Carroll University, and the University of Mount Union for Seniors' Day. 

The OAC tournament will be contested during the week of November 4. 

The Yellow Jackets finished the 2018 season with an overall record of 27-5 and 6-3 in conference, which led to a trip to the OAC Tournament Semifinals.
