Kayla Losco is OAC Soccer Player of the Week

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University senior All-Ohio Athletic Conference and Academic All-OAC standout Kayla Losco (Hopewell Township, Pa./ Hopewell) is this week's OAC Women's Soccer Player of the Week. She earned the award for scoring a pair of game-winning goals.

Losco led the Yellow Jackets to a 2-0 record last week with wins at Heidelberg University, 1-0, and at home versus Wilmington College, 3-1.  She scored the game-winner against Heidelberg in the 15th minute and then helped the BW Defense shut down the Student Princes. In the 3-1 victory over Wilmington , she scored BW's first goal in the 31st minute off of a free kick.

To date, Losco has scored three goals and added a team-high four assists for 10 points. A year ago, Losco led the OAC in assists with nine. For her career,she has 10 goals and 13 assists for 33 career points.

Losco, a pre-physical therapy and exercise science major, carries a 3.62 grade point average.

This week, the Yellow Jackets play at John Carroll University on Tuesday, Oct. 22 at 7 pm and play at Capital University on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 pm. With one win, BW will tie the school record for wins in a season.
