Keller Garners First Career OAC Weekly Honor

BEREA -- Senior forward Heather Keller (Parma) has been selected as Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Player-of-the-Week.

Keller garners her first career OAC Women's Soccer Player-of-the-Week honor after she scored three goals in wins at Bethany (W.Va.) College and Defiance College last week.  BW has won five straight and have a record of 8-1 overall. She scored once in a 6-2 victory against Bethany and twice in a 4-3 win at Defiance. Keller tops the team in scoring with six goals and three assists for 15 points.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, October 1 when they travel to Waynesburg, Pennsylvania for a non-conference game with Waynesburg University at 6 p.m.  The team returns home on Saturday, October 5 when the team will host Otterbein University in the OAC opener at 4:30 p.m.   The game is also Special Olympics Night as a groul special olympians will escort the Yellow Jacket starters to midfield for pre-game introductions and will play in a scrimmage at halftime.
