Women’s Basketball Climbs in Latest WBCA Top-25 Poll

LILBURN, Ga. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has climbed in the latest Women's Basketball Coaches Association Top-25 poll.

BW, who last ranked 25th last week, climbs one spot to 24.  The Yellow Jackets have won nine of their last 10 games and are the only Ohio Athletic Conference team ranked in the poll.

BW who enters this week with a record of 12-3 and sits alone at the top of the OAC standings with a perfect 8-0 mark.  The Yellow Jackets knocked off Ohio Northern University in a battle of OAC unbeatens last Wednesday by a final score of 67-58.   BW closed out the week with a road victory over Wilmington College on Saturday by a final score of 55-47.

BW is back in action on Wednesday, January 17 when it hosts the first game of two game OAC homestand against Heidelberg University in the Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center at 7 p.m.
