Women’s Basketball Dishes Out 2023-24 Schedule

BEREA, OHIO – Under the direction of head coach Cheri Harrer, the Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team has released its 2023-24 schedule.

In the first month of the season, BW plays five non-conference games, including four on the road.  The Yellow Jackets open the campaign on November 10 when it travels to Rochester, New York for a non-conference game against Gettysburg (Pa.) College in its first game of the Chuck Resler Tournament hosted by the University of Rochester.  BW plays the next day on November 11 in either consolation or championship games.

The Yellow Jackets remain on the road on November 15 when it travels to Angola, Indiana to take on Trine University.  BW plays its home opener on November 21 as it hosts LaRoche (Pa.) University.  The Yellow Jackets close out the opening month with a non-conference game against Oberlin College on November 29.

BW opens Ohio Athletic Conference action with two consecutive road games against Muskingum University on December 2 and crosstown rival John Carroll University on December 6.  The Yellow Jackets play their only OAC home game in the first half of the season on December 10 when they host Capital University.  BW returns to the road for an OAC game against Otterbein University on December 16.

The Yellow Jackets close the 2023 portion of the schedule when they travel to Fort Lauderdale, Florida to compete in the Cruzin Classic against Methodist (N.C.) University on December 20 and Rhode Island College on December 21.

As the calendar turns to 2024, BW will be in the heart of OAC play as it hosts the University of Mount Union on January 3.  The Yellow Jackets will also host OAC games against Ohio Northern University on January 10, Heidelberg University on January 17, Muskingum on January 20, John Carroll on January 31, Otterbein on February 3, Wilmington College on February 10, and Marietta College on February 17.

BW will hit the road for OAC contests against Marietta on January 6, Wilmington on January 13, Mount Union on January 24, Capital on January 27, Ohio Northern on February 7, and Heidelberg on February 14.

The OAC Tournament will be contested on February 20, 22 and 24.
