BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team improves one spot on the most recent Women's Basketball Coaches Association Division III Top-25 poll, landing at No. 15.

The Yellow Jackets (17-3, 14-1 OAC) edge their way into the top-15 after two big conference wins last week. BW conquered the Polar Bears of Ohio Northern University in an overtime thriller by a 64-58 final score. Finishing out their week on the road, the Yellow Jackets then claimed a big win over Muskingum, 63-50.

BW's junior Academic All-OAC guard Regan Schill (Sheffeild Village/Elyria Catholic) hit a clutch three-point basket while freshman forward Caely Ressler (Napoleon) hit two shots to help their team to the overtime win. Against Muskingum, senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC forward Lilly Edwards (Dublin/Coffman) notched another double-double with 15 points and 10 rebounds. BW shot 41.8% (23-55) as a team against the Muskies, but held them to just 30.8% (20-65) from the field.

In the newest D3hoops.com top-25 index, the Yellow Jackets remain at the No. 10 spot. BW is accompanied on each of the polls by John Carroll University as it is slated at No. 13 in both.

The Yellow Jackets return to the hardwood on Wednesday, February 16 as they host crosstown rival JCU in a huge OAC contest. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. in Ursprung Gymnasium inside the Lou Higgins Center.
