BEREA, Ohio – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team and Ohio Athletic Conference have released their 2021-22 schedule. After a shortened 2021 spring schedule, head coach Cheri Harrer will begin her 32nd season and look to continue her legendary success in this year's campaign.
BW will start the 2021-22 season on the road against crosstown opponent Case Western Reserve University on Tuesday, November 9 before traveling to Holland, Mich. to face Olivet College (Mich.) and Hope College (Mich.) in the Hope College Tip Off Classic on November 19 and 20.
The Yellow Jackets will host their first home game in Ursprung Gymnasium, before the start of conference play, on Tuesday, November 23 against La Roche University (Pa.) at 11:00 a.m. for Education Day.
BW will begin OAC competition at Heidelberg University on December 1 at 7:00 p.m. and at Wilmington College on December 4 at 2:00 p.m. The Yellow Jackets will host OAC opponent Marietta College on December 12 before traveling to Naples, Florida to face non-conference opponents Albright College (Pa.) and Scranton University (Pa.) in the Naples Classic on December 29 and 30.
The Yellow Jackets will return home for conference games against the University of Mount Union (January 5), Muskingum College (January 8), and Ohio Northern University (January 12). Other home OAC matchups include Wilmington on January 22, Heidelberg on January 26, and Otterbein University on February 5.
The women's basketball team will close regular season play with home contests against John Carroll University on February 16 and Capital University on February 19 in the Lou Higgins Center.
BW finished last season with a 10-5 overall record and were 8-4 in the OAC.
