BW grabbed the 30-25 advantage, shooting 9-24 as a team. Otterbein shot 12-21 in the first half, but the Yellow Jackets earned the edge on the boards (15-12) and hit three three-pointers to Otterbein's 0.

It was another strong defensive effort from the Yellow Jackets in the second half, holding Otterbein to just one basket for 7:38 in the third quarter. In turn, fueling their offense, BW outscored the Cardinals 20-8 in the third to grab the 50-33 lead heading into the last ten minutes. Grabbing the edge in the fourth quarter as well, the Yellow Jackets notched 18 points to Otterbein's 15 total. BW walked away with the huge 68-48 win.

Otterbein was led by graduate student All-OAC guard Angelia Jackson as she totaled a game high 15 points. Jackson also tallied four boards and two steals.
