MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team lands on the D3hoops.com Preseason Top-25 Poll, being chosen #21.

BW enters the poll at no. 21 after receiving 162 total votes. Under head coach Cheri Harrer, the Yellow Jackets are one of two teams from the OAC chosen for the top-25 with crosstown rival John Carroll University at no. 8.

The Yellow Jackets return all but one athlete from their 2021 spring campaign, where BW went 10-5 overall. BW also comes off a 28-2 overall, 17-1 OAC 2019-20 season, where the Yellow Jackets surged into the NCAA Division III Sweet 16 before the tournament was cancelled.

BW begins the season on Tuesday, November 9 as the Yellow Jackets travel to Case Western Reserve University for a big non-conference contest. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. in Horsburgh Gymnasium.
