WESTERVILLE, Ohio – Senior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC forward Lilly Edwards (Dublin/Coffman) of the #21 Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team was named the Ohio Athletic Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time in her career.

Edwards garnered this honor by helping BW to a 76-49 win over La Roche (Pa.) University last Tuesday, November 23. Edwards notched her career-high of 29 points in just 24 minutes of play, nearing what would've been her third double-double of the year adding nine rebounds.

With a ten-point third quarter against the Redhawks, Edwards also added two assists and two steals, and shot 7-7 from the free throw line for BW.

Edwards is currently ranked tied for first in the OAC in points per game (19.8) and is first in the OAC in rebounds per game (10.8), averaging a double-double through four games.

She previously earned OAC Player of the Week on February 15, 2021 after a two-game sweep of Capital University, with a combined total of 39 points.

Edwards and the Yellow Jackets return to play this Wednesday, December 1 as BW travels to Heidelberg University for the 2021-22 OAC opener. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. inside Sieberling Gymnasium.
