Baldwin Wallace University Men's Throwers Compete at Findlay

FINDLAY, OHIO  –  The Baldwin Wallace University men's indoor track throwers competed last night (Friday, February 3, 2012) at the University of Findlay Open Meet. The remainder of the teams are in action at The College of Wooster Invitational at 12:00 noon in the brand new Scot Center.

For the men, junior Mitch Supan (Medina/ Walsh Jesuit) led the Yellow Jackets as he won the men's shot with a season-best throw of 53' 0.25" which ranks him 10th in Division III, and also placed sixth in the weight throw as he recorded a mark of 55'0".

In addition to Supan, junior Zach Marinucci (Brunswick) was second in the shot put with a throw of 52'6" which ranks him 12th in Division III. Also in the shot put, senior Miles Moore (Gettysburg, Pa./ Deleone Catholic) placed sixth at 48'9.5". In the weight throw, Moore was ninth at 45'10.5" and Marinucci was 13th at 42'0"

Following its meet at Wooster today, the Yellow Jackets return home and will host the annual BW Mid-February Meet next Friday, Feb. 10 at 5:00 p.m. BW also will host the annual Greater Cleveland College Championship Meet on Friday, Feb. 17 at 5:00 p.m.
