LOUSIVILLE, Ky. – Senior men's lacrosse All-Ohio Athletic Conference goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) earns United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA)/Dynamic National Team of the Week honors for the first time in his career.

Storner earns the weekly award after collecting 17 saves in the 21 shots he faced in the men's lacrosse victory over Southern Virginia University. In the 10-4 win over the Knights, Storner also grabbed three ground balls and had a shutout in the first half.

On the season, Storner leads the team and the Ohio Athletic Conference in saves (59). He is also second on the team in ground balls (10), has caused two turnovers, and has appeared in and started all four games for the Yellow Jackets.

In his career, Storner is first All-Time in BW history in Career Saves (467), first All-Time in Career Save Percentage (.603), second All-Time in Career Minutes Played as a goalkeeper, and second All-Time in Career Wins as a goalkeeper (29). He has also tallied 78 ground balls and six caused turnovers.

BW returns to the field on Friday, March 10 when the team travels to Lexington, Ky. to face non-conference opponent Berry (Ga.) University in a neutral game hosted by Transylvania University. The game is set to begin at 12:00 p.m. inside of the Pat Deacon Stadium.
