BEREA, Ohio – Senior All-American, All-Region, All-Ohio Athletic Conference, and Academic All-OAC defenseman Neil Randall (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Palos Verdes) has been selected to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Scholar All-America team while the Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team has been recognized for their team academic efforts.

To receive the team academic award, presented by Blatant Lacrosse, the team must acquire a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or above. This year's team maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.322.

Randall earns his second Academic All-America award after recently being awarded College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America honors. Randall is the first men's lacrosse player in history to receive either of these accolades. He concluded his academic journey with a cumulative GPA of 3.893 in physical activity and recreation.

Randall earned his third consecutive All-Ohio Athletic Conference First Team award this year, leading the team and OAC in caused turnovers (47) and was third on the team in ground balls (51).

Recently, Randall was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America (USILA) honoree, an Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) All-Region selection, a CSC Academic All-District honoree, and broke BW's All-Time Caused Turnovers Record (140). He was also named the OAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and ranks fifth all-time at BW in ground balls (157).

BW men's lacrosse led all of Division III in scoring defense this season with Randall being a main contributor to that feat.

Randall was named an Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American this year, and last year earned his first USILA All-America and IMLCA All-Region awards. Randall also ranks T16th in games played at BW. Off the field, he is a dean's list student, a jacket scholar, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma honorary. Additionally, Randall was named this year's Kenneth Steingass Most Outstanding Male Athlete to conclude his career at BW.

BW finished the record-breaking 2023 season as the OAC Regular Season Champions for the third consecutive season as they posted a 16-3 record with a 9-0 mark in the OAC.
