Two Men's Lacrosse Student-Athletes Earn CSC Academic All-District Honors

BEREA, Ohio – Two Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic At-Large All-District team. 

Senior All-American, All-Region, All-Ohio Athletic Conference, and Academic All-OAC defender Neil Randall (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Palos Verdes) and junior All-OAC and Academic All-OAC attack Jake Nanosky (Medina) earn CSC Academic honors for the first time in their careers. 

Randall earns his first CSC academic accolade after having a cumulative grade point average of 3.893 in physical activity and recreation. Randall earned his third consecutive All-OAC First Team award, leading the team and OAC in caused turnovers (47) and was third on the team in ground balls (51). 

He was named the OAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2022, and this season broke BW's All-Time Caused Turnovers Record (140). Randall now also ranks fifth all-time in ground balls (157). 

Randall was named an Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American this year, and last year was a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) All-American and an Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) All-Region selection. Randall also ranks T16th in games played at BW. Off the field, he is a dean's list student, a jacket scholar, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma honorary.

Nanosky earns his first CSC academic accolade after having a cumulative GPA of 3.919 in finance. Nanosky earned his third straight conference accolade this year after being fourth on the team in points, tallying 23 goals and 18 assists. He also added 28 ground balls and six caused turnovers. 

In his career, Nanosky has been named OAC Offensive Player of the Week two times and holds the freshman record in goals scored (39), goals per game, assists, points, points per game, and shots on goal. All-time at BW, he ranks fourth in goals scored (notching his 100th in the OAC Tournament semifinal win over Ohio Northern University), second in assists (79), second in points (179), fourth in goals per game (2.00), second in assists per game (1.58), second in points per game (3.58), and fourth in shots on goal (184). Off the field, he is a dean's list student and a jacket scholar. 

BW finished the season as the OAC Regular Season Champions for the third consecutive season as they posted a 16-3 record with a 9-0 mark in the OAC.
