Men’s Lacrosse Defeats Chatham (Pa.)

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Baldwin Wallace University men's lacrosse team traveled to take on Chatham (Pa.) University in the team's final non-conference title of the regular season. The Yellow Jackets rolled to a convincing 14-3 win over the Cougars, extending their winning streak to six games heading into Ohio Athletic Conference play.

BW (6-2) was led by a trio of players who recorded hat tricks, as senior All-American midfielder Jonas Aquilla (Westlake/St. Edward), freshman attack/midfield Reichen Geiselhart (Cranberry Township, Pa./Seneca Valley), freshman attack/midfield Bennet Trout (Pickerington/North) all scored three goals. Senior attack/midfield Olin Ferguson (Tulsa, Okla./Booker T. Washington) also recorded three points, notching two goals and an assist. 

Senior All-OAC goalkeeper Joe Storner (Louisville, Ky.) added six saves and recorded a .857 save percentage, earning the win in net for the Yellow Jackets.

The Yellow Jackets return to play on Saturday, March 25, for their OAC opener against Muskingum College. The game is set to begin at 1:00 p.m. on the Tressel Field inside of the George Finnie Stadium.
