BEREA, Ohio – Senior All-American, All-Region, All-Ohio Athletic Conference, and Academic All-OAC defenseman Neil Randall (Manhattan Beach, Calif./Palos Verdes) has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic At-Large All-America First Team, being the first in program history to receive such honors.

Randall earns his second CSC academic accolade after having a cumulative grade point average of 3.893 in physical activity and recreation. Randall earned his third consecutive All-OAC First Team award this year, leading the team and OAC in caused turnovers (47) and was third on the team in ground balls (51).

Recently, Randall was named a United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association All-America (USILA) honoree, an Intercollegiate Men's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IMLCA) All-Region selection, and broke BW's All-Time Caused Turnovers Record (140). He was also named the OAC Defensive Player of the Year in 2022 and ranks fifth all-time at BW in ground balls (157).

BW men's lacrosse led all of Division III in scoring defense this season with Randall being a main contributor to that feat.

Randall was named an Inside Lacrosse Preseason All-American this year, and last year earned his first USILA All-America and IMLCA All-Region awards. Randall also ranks T16th in games played at BW. Off the field, he is a dean's list student, a jacket scholar, and a member of the Chi Alpha Sigma honorary. Additionally, Randall was named this year's Kenneth Steingass Most Outstanding Male Athlete to conclude his career at BW.

BW finished the record-breaking 2023 season as the OAC Regular Season Champions for the third consecutive season as they posted a 16-3 record with a 9-0 mark in the OAC.
