BEREA, OHIO --  For his efforts both in the classroom and on the basketball court, Baldwin Wallace University senior Paul Glass (Medina/ Senior) has been named to the 2009-10 Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference men's basketball honor squad.

Glass, a 6" small forward who maintains a 3.69 grade average in pre-physical therapy, was a team captain and four-year varsity player for the Yellow Jackets. He ended his career as a four-time letterman who scored 506 career points, grabbed 246 rebounds, passed for 77 assists, made 54 steals and made 26 three-pointers.

This season, Glass had his best season as a Yellow Jacket as he averaged a career-high 7.5 points and 3.7 rebounds-per-game with 31 assists, 27 steals and five treys.

"Paul is a great team-leader, an unselfish student and player who puts his team first and well ahead of any personal recognition," said second-year Head Coach Duane Sheldon, who himself was an Academic All-OAC student-athlete as a collegian at BW in the early-to-mid 1900s.  "Paul has an outstanding work ethic and is a strong role model for our younger players. He is well-respected on campus, in the classroom and athletic training room and definitely in our basketball program. We congratulate Paul on an honor well-deserved."

Glass helped lead the Yellow Jackets to a 14-12 record.
