Baldwin Wallace Senior Kyle Brown Named OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week

BEREA, OHIO -- Baldwin Wallace University senior forward Kyle Brown (Strongsville) has been named the Ohio Athletic Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week for his performance during the final two games of the regular season.

Brown averaged 23.0 points and 4.5 rebounds-per-game with 10 three-pointers during games versus Ohio Northern University and Otterbein College last week.

Versus ONU, Brown matched a career-high with 32 points and tied a school-record with eight three-pointers in a key 79-74 Yellow Jacket victory. Versus Otterbein on Seniors' Day in Berea, he scored 14 points.

For the season, Brown leads BW in scoring at 13.0 ppg. with 61 triples. In 70 career games, he has 960 points, 302 rebounds and 167 three-pointers.

The Yellow Jackets, 14-11 overall and 9-9 in the OAC, enter this week's OAC Tournament as the number-six seed and will play at rival and #3-seeded Capital University on Wednesday, February 24. Tip-off from the Capital Center is set for 7:30 p.m.
