BEREA, Ohio --  Baldwin Wallace University senior two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference flanker Josiah Holt (Elyria/ Grafton Midview) and junior defensive end Luke Riemenschneider (Rocky River) have been selected as this week's OAC Football Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week, respectively, for their efforts in a 38-17 Homecoming victory against Ohio Northern University.

This is the third OAC player-of-the-week honor for Holt, including his second as an offensive standout, and the first for Riemenschneider.

Holt accounted for 234 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns as he led the Yellow Jackets to a 38-17 victory against Ohio Athletic Conference rival Ohio Northern University on Homecoming. He rushed for a career-high 184 yards on 15 attempts (12.3-yard average per carry) with TD runs of 72, 56 and 5 yards.  Holt also caught three passes for 50 yards, including a 35-yarder that set up another score.

After missing the first three games this season with an injury, he ranks second in receiving with 12 catches for 116 yards and third in rushing with 223 yards in 22 attempts (10.1-yard average per carry) with three TD's.

During his career, Holt has accumulated 2,835 all-purpose yards and 16 TD's, including 552 rushing yards in 69 attempts (8.0-yard average) with six TD's, 1,137 receiving yards on 92 catches with seven TD's and 1,146 yards on 30 kickoff returns with three TD's. He earned the OAC Special Teams Player of the Week versus Wilmington College and his other Offensive Player of the Week last season versus John Carroll University.

Rienenschneider had nine tackles, three quarterback sacks, forced a fumble, recovered  a fumble and forced three bad passes against the Polar Bear offense. He stands second on the team this season with 34 tackles and first with eight stops for loss and five QB sacks. In addition to being a fine football student-athlete, Riemenschneider plays lacrosse and was second on the team in scoring last spring with 28 points and first with 24 goals.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action this Saturday, October 19 when they travel to Wilmington for an OAC game with Wilmington College at Williams Stadium at 6:00 p.m.  Fans can listen to that game LIVE on BW campus radio station WBWC, 88.3 FM, and via the internet at www.wbwc.com.
