BEREA, Ohio -- Senior Academic All-Ohio Athletic Conference linebacker David Flegal (Akron/Revere), has been named as the OAC Defensive Player-of-the-Week for his efforts in last Saturday's win at Marietta.

Flegal, who earns his second career OAC weekly honor as well as his second of the season, had a career-high 18 tackles as the Yellow Jackets defeated Marietta, 31-7, for their fourth straight victory. He leads BW with 89 tackles, including 33 solo stops and has a team-leading two fumble recoveries.

The Yellow Jackets travel to Alliance to face OAC leader, No. 1-nationally ranked and 2012 NCAA Division III National Champion University of Mount Union on Saturday, November 9 at 1:30 p.m.
