Women's Indoor Track and Field Competes at the Dan Kinsey Invite

OBERLIN, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's indoor track and field team competed at the Dan Kinsey Invite hosted by Oberlin College. The meet was unscored.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

  • Sophomore Jessica Klonowski (Parma / Holy Name) placed second in the 60-meter dash in a time of 8.43
  • Freshman Rylee Barno (Columbus / Bexley) finished second in the 800-meter run in a time of 2:27.17
  • Freshman Ava Eagle (Wooster) placed third in the 60-meter dash in a time of 8.44

Field event highlights:

  • Freshman Rylee Gorrell (Grove City, Pa. / Grove City Area) won the high jump with a distance of 1.55 meters
  • Freshman Jillian Sayoc (Twinsburg) finished second in the pole vault with a distance of 2.90 meters
  • Freshman Faith Timko (Wooster) placed second in the high jump with a distance of 1.50 meters

On the relay side:

  • In the 4x400 meter relay crew, junior Erica Bowers (Martinsburg, W. Va. / Hedgesville), junior Kamaria Montgomery (Louisville / Canton GlenOak), junior Jensen Wolfe (Somerset / Sheridan), and junior Jaelyn Jaquay (Cherry Valley, N.Y. / Springfield Central) finished second in a time of 4:38.68

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Feb. 3 for the second and final day of the Third Jud Logan Light Giver Open hosted by Ashland University.
