Men's and Women's Track and Field Reveals 2023-24 Incoming Student-Athletes

BEREA, Ohio - Baldwin Wallace University Head Track and Field Coach Daniel Simpson is pleased to announce that 41 men student-athletes and 20 women student-athletes have selected Baldwin Wallace University to continue their track and field careers.

On the men's side, Coach Simpson, who is in his second season at BW, returns 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor/Outdoor Champion senior hurdler ShaDaryll Clark ll (Brook Park / Berea-Midpark) and junior high jumper Christian Pfeiffer (Amherst), along with seven All-OAC performers and eight Academic All-OAC selections from last year's squad that finished seventh at the OAC Indoor Championships and sixth at the OAC Outdoor Championships.

On the women's side, Coach Simpson returns 2023 Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor/Outdoor Champion and All-American junior distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore), along with eight All-OAC performers and 10 Academic All-OAC selections from last year's team that finished fourth at both the OAC Indoor and Outdoor Championships.

The Yellow Jackets open the indoor season when they travel to Youngstown on Dec. 1 to compete in the Youngstown State University Icebreaker. The following day, BW travels to Cleveland on Dec. 2 to compete in the 10th Annual Holiday Classic hosted by Case Western Reserve University.
