Almady and Murphy of Men's and Women's Outdoor Track and Field Compete in the Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa. – Junior distance runners Carter Almady (Brunswick) and All-American Hope Murphy (Mogadore) of the Baldwin Wallace University men's and women's outdoor track and field teams competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by NCAA Division I Bucknell (Pa.) University.

Almady competed in the 10,000-meter run and finished 26th of 53 runners in a time of 32:00.76.

Murphy competed in the 800-meter run and the 1,500-meter run. In the 800-meter, she placed eighth of 148 runners in a time of 2:10.30. Murphy concluded the 1,500-meter run finishing 19th of 87 runners in a time of 4:29.06. Her 800-meter time places her third in the nation, and her 1,500-meter time ranks her fourth in the nation.

The Yellow Jackets return to action on Friday, April 19 for the Jesse Owens Classic, hosted by NCAA Division I Ohio State University.
