BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University Department of Athletics, the Center for Philanthropy and Alumni Engagement and the Brown and Gold Club are pleased to announce the 2023 Athletics Alumni Hall of Fame Class. The eight newest inductees will now bring the total to 377 Yellow Jackets for Life that have been honored with induction into the Hall of Fame.
The Athletics Alumni Association Hall of Fame was established in 1965 to recognize exceptional achievements and impact on the Brown & Gold by an athlete, administrator or coach, team or honorary.
This year's honoraries are:
- Dave Miller '85 – football
- Tabitha Murray '14 – softball
- Julie Pinter '13 – women's swimming and diving
- Amanda Schroeder-Crego '11 – women's basketball
- Jared Selover '07 – men's wrestling
- Mitch Supan '13 – men's track and field
- Brendan Toughey '13 – baseball
- Carlin Vandendriessche '12 – men's soccer
The 2023 inductees will be officially inducted into the Athletics Alumni Association Hall of Fame on Saturday, September 9 with a special ceremony prior to the Hall of Fame game between BW and Wilmington College. The 2023 class will also be introduced to the football crowd between the first and second quarters.
