Chosa, Collier, and Murphy of Women's Outdoor Track and Field Earn USTFCCCA All-Region Honors

NEW ORLEANSLa.  –  Three members of the Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team earned All-Great Lakes region honors from the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). 

Freshman All-Ohio Athletic Conference thrower Amyah Chosa (Jemez Pueblo, N.M. / Jemez Valley), junior All-OAC sprinter Abby Collier (Dublin / Coffman), and junior All-American distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) were awarded with All-Great Lakes region honors for the 2023-24 outdoor track and field season.

To earn All-Region honors, individuals must finish in the top-five of the region in an event and relay teams must finish in the region's top-three.

Collier and Murphy are back in action on Thursday and Friday, May 23-24 for the 2024 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted by Coastal Carolina (S.C.) University in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. 

Murphy will compete in the 1500-meter run prelims at 5:35 p.m. on May 23. Collier and Murphy are both in action on May 24, with Collier competing in the 400-meter dash prelims at 5:00 p.m. and Murphy competing in the 800-meter run prelims at 6:00 p.m.
