Murphy Earns Second Career Indoor All-America Honor at NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. - Baldwin Wallace University junior All-Ohio Athletic Conference distance runner Hope Murphy (Mogadore) competed at Day Two of the 2024 NCAA Division III Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Norfolk State (Va.) University at the Virginia Beach Sports Center.

Murphy placed second in the 800-meter run finals in a time of 2:09.91. She earned her second career All-America honor with her runner-up finish. Murphy also competed in the 3000-meter run finals, finishing 20th in a time of 10:14.17.

At the OAC Indoor Championships, Murphy was crowned the 800-meter champion after finishing first in a time of 2:14.80. She was also named the Julie Zajac Indoor Distance Runner of the Year for the third consecutive year.
