CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field team competed at the 10th Annual Spartan Holiday Classic hosted by Case Western Reserve University in the Veale Center. The meet was unscored.

The Yellow Jackets individual events highlights included:

• Junior Jaelyn Jaquay (Cherry Valley, N.Y. / Springfield Central) finished second in the 3000-meter run in a time of 11:45.65
• Sophomore Charlotte Jones (Brecksville / Brecksville-Broadview Heights) placed third in the one-mile and 3000-meter run, finishing in a time of 5:48.90 in the one-mile and 11:49.46 in the 3000-meter

Field event highlights:

• Freshman Faith Timko (Wooster) tied for fourth in the high jump with a distance of 4 feet and 11 inches
• Freshman Jillian Sayoc (Twinsburg) placed seventh in the pole vault with a distance of 9 feet and 6¼ inches

On the relay side:

• In the 4x400 meter relay squad, Jones, freshman Brooke Kennedy (Alabama, N.Y. / Oakfield Alabama), freshman Ali Smith (Muncie, Ind. / Yorktown), and junior Jensen Wolfe (Somerset / Sheridan) finished sixth in a time of 5:01.56

The Yellow Jackets are back in action Saturday, Jan. 13 as they host the Alumni Meet on the Harrison Dillard Track inside the Lou Higgins Center Fieldhouse.
