BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's tennis team lost to NCAA Division II Ashland University, today (Friday, March, 27 2009) in Ashalnd, Ohio. With the loss, the Yellow Jackets are now 3-9 overall and remain 1-0 in OAC play.
In singles play, number-four singles player sophomore Emily Pelosi (Uniontown/Green) and No.5 singles player senior Alyssa Trampert (Orchard Park, N.Y./Orchard Park) both won.
Tomorrow (Saturday, March 28), the Yellow Jackets continue their conference play at Ohio Athletic Conference rival Mount Union College at 1:00 p.m. BW's next OAC home match is on March 31 against OAC foe Heidelberg College. The 2009 OAC Tournament begins on April 30 at the Lindner Family Courts in Mason, Ohio.
