FINDLAY, Ohio –  Four Baldwin Wallace University women's indoor field competitors competed at the University of Findlay Elite Throws Meet on January 31.

The Yellow Jacket women were led by sophomore Kim Gallavan (Auburn Township/Kenston) as she placed eighth in the weight throw with a toss of 49' 6.25" and 13th in the shot put with a throw of 35'7.75". 

In addition, sophomore Maggie Urban (Cleveland / St. Joseph's Academy) was 14th with a throw of 44' 0.5", freshman Kasey Clouse (Norwalk) was 23rd with a throw of 38'11" and senior Alex Shaw (Pittsburgh, Pa./Bishop Canevin) was 26th with a throw of 33'8.5"

The BW track and field teams are back in action on Saturday, February 1 when they compete at the Ohio Athletic Conference Split Squad Meet in Ada, at Ohio Northern University in the ONU Sports Center.

Next Saturday, February 8, the Yellow Jacket track and field teams are back in action when they travel to Granville, to compete at the Denison University Invitational Meet at 12 noon.  The next home meet is the annual Mid-February Meet on February 14 on the Harrison Dillard Track at 5p.m.
