BW Women Compete at Don Frail Invitational

MARIETTA, OHIO – The Baldwin Wallace University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the unscored Don Frail Invitational Meet hosted by Marietta College at Don Drumm Stadium. 

The BW women were led by sophomore All-American Melanie Winters (Stow/ Stow-Munroe Falls) who won the 100-meter hurdles in 14.77 seconds and the 100-meter dash in 12.67 seconds.

In addition, senior Brooke Hradisky (Aurora) won the 800-meter run in 2:21.67 and senior Nicole Smith (Geneva) won the 400-meter hurdles in 1:12.35.

Also, sophomore All-American Kim Gallavan (Auburn Township/ Chagrin Falls Kenston) placed second in the discus with a throw of 129-feet and three inches (129'3"). 

Next Saturday, April 5, BW travels to Delaware, Ohio to compete in the annual Marv Frye Meet at Ohio Wesleyan University.  Field events begin at 11:00 a.m.
