Three Yellow Jacket Throwers Compete at Wisconsin-Oshkosh Final Qualifier

OSHKOSH, Wis. – Three members of the Baldwin Wallace University women's track and field team competed at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Final Qualifier in attempt to qualify or better their marks for the NCAA Division III National Championships.

The Yellow Jacket women were led by sophomore All-American Kim Gallavan (Auburn Township/Kenston) finished third in the hammer with a mark of 161 feet and nine inches.  She was also seventh in the discus with a toss of 128'4" and ninth in the shot with a throw of 42'8".
In addition to Gallavan, sophomore Ohio Athletic Conference Hammer Throw Champion Maggie Urban (Cleveland/St. Joseph Academy) took seventh in the hammer with a toss of 153'4" and freshman Kasey Clouse (Norwalk/Western Reserve) was 10th in the discus with a mark of 122'8".
The 2014 NCAA Division III National Championships are on May 22-24 in Delaware, Ohio on the campus of Ohio Wesleyan University.
