BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a senior in 2013-14, Alex will compee in her fourth season of track and field.

ACADEMIC HONORS: As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Alexandra was named a Jacket Scholar. In 2012-2013, Alex was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma Athletics Honor Society.

GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2010-2011, Alex competed in her first season of indoor track. She threw distances of 29" 5.5" in weight throw and 22' .05" in shot put.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Alex competed in her second year of indoor track. She threw for a career best in weight throw (32'8.25) and shot put (24'10") both at the OAC North Split Meet.
As a junior in 2012-13, Alex competed in her third year of indoor track and field. She threw a career-best in weight throw (36'.25") and a season-best in shot put (24'6.25") at the Fighting Scots Invitational.
As a senior in 2013-14, Alex will compete in her fourth year of indoor track and field.

GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2010-11, Alex competed in her first season of outdoor track and field.  Alex threw season-bests in the hammer at 77' 5", in the shot put at 21' 6.25", in the discus at 71', and in the javelin at 71' 1".  

As a sophomore in 2011-12, Alex competed in her second season of outdoor track and field.  She threw new career-bests in all her throws this season.  In the hammer throw she threw a distance of 121' 7" and in the discus a distance of 74' 8".  In the javelin throw she improved her distance by throwing a 95' 4".
As a junior in 2012-13, Alex competed in her third season of outdoor track and field. She threw a new career-best in the hammer throw (121'9") at the Coastal Carolina University Invitational and a season-best in javelin (83'5") at the Marv Frye Invitational.
    As a senior in 2013-14, Alex will compete in her fourth season of outdoor track and field.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Alex Shaw grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and graduated from Bishop Canevin High School. Alex did track and field for four years and earned three varsity letters. Alex also did volleyball for three years earning two letters, was a member of the lacrosse team earning two letters, also earned one tennis letter and played basketball for one year.
