BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Samantha Lang will compete in her second year of track and field at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014.
GENERAL INDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-13, Sam competed in her first season of indoor track and field. She posted personal bests in the 4x400 meter relay (4:03.97), 400 meter dash (1:01.43), 55 meter hurdles (9.78), high jump (4'05"), long jump (14'11.25") and shot put (27'08.75").
GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK INFORMATION: As a freshman in 2012-2013, Sam competed in her first year of outdoor track and field. Sam competed in outdoor events that consisted of the 100 meter dash with a time of 13.43 at the Marv Frye Invitational, 400 meter dash time of 1:00.96 at the Marv Frye Invitational, 400 meter hurdles time of 1:08.61 at the Ohio Athletic Conference Split, shot put distance of 28'2.25" at the OAC Split, and a javelin throw of 88'7" at the Charlotte 49er Classic.
As a sophomore, Sam will compete in her second year of outdoor track and field.
HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Sam Lang grew up in Akron, Ohio and graduated from Green High School. Sam competed in track for four years and earned four varsity letters. Also, she competed in swimming for one year.
Sam was an All-Ohioan as a senior in track, a memebr of the Academic Team for two years and earned the Scholar-Athlete Award twice.
