BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Marissa Hellisz will compete in her second seasons of track and field and basketball at Baldwin Wallace University in 2013-2014.

GENERAL BASKETBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-13, Marissa played her first season of basketball.  She played in six games for the 16-9 Yellow Jackets, tallied six points and four rebounds, and canned 3 of her nine field goal attempts.  
GENERAL OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2012-13, Marissa competed in her first season of track and field. Her events consisted of long jump and triple jump. Marissa had a season-best of 16'7.25" in the long jump and a team-best of 31'4" in triple jump. Marissa lettered for her first time in track and field.
    As a sophomore in 2013-14, Marissa will compete in her second year of track and field.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Marissa Hellisz grew up in Parma, Ohio and graduated from Parma Normandy High School. As a senior in 2011-12 in basketball, Marissa was the Northeast Ohio Conference MVP while helping Normandy to the league title.  She was also MVP of her track and field team and was All-NEO in four events, including league champion in the long and high jumps, and helped the Invaders to the conference championship.
