"I give credit to all the current and former student-athletes who I've had the opportunity to coach and all of the excellent assistant coaches and support personnel who have made this happen over the years. I also credit the College administration for its support with resources and facilities."

"I feel old. I've received a number of text messages from former coaches and players wishing me well. I really feel blessed. I've never scored a point or grabbed a rebound for this team. I've done a lot of screaming and yelling. Winning comes through the players' commitment. Every year at our alumni game, our alums wear shirts that read "It takes a little more to be a Yellow Jacket."

"This team never talks about wins and losses. We talk about getting better each day. I like where we are right now with one senior and two juniors. The younger kids are getting better and doing a great job.

"We (Harrer and Jeffers) respect the job each other does. We both know that winning comes from commitment on the defensive side of the ball. She still has a lot more accomplishments than I do and I'm still chasing her. Personally, we talk off the court about stuff other than basketball. But on the court, it is a fierce rivalry. It is a battle each time BW and Capital play and we (BW) are really looking forward to the matchup."
