BEREA, OHIO -- The Baldwin Wallace University women's basketball team was picked to finish third in the Ohio Athletic Conference preseason coaches' poll released on Wednesday, November 4, 2009.
The Yellow Jackets return two All-OAC starters and seven letterwinners under 20th-year Head Coach Cheri Harrer, who is just four wins shy of the 400 mark for her career with an outstanding 396-137 record.
The Brown & Gold finished last season at 22-8 overall, 14-4 in the OAC, and advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the 11th time in the past 14 years.
BW opens the season on Friday and Saturday, Nov. 20-21 at the Rochester (N.Y.) University Invitational in Rochester, N.Y. The Jackets take on Williams (Mass.) College in the tourney opener on Friday, Nov. 20 at 3:00 p.m.
