BEREA, OHIO --  The annual Baldwin-Wallace College soccer Alumni Games will take place this Saturday, August 27 at The George Finnie Stadium in Berea. The women will play at 4:30 p.m. and the men at 6:30 p.m.

"We look forward to seeing many of our outstanding former soccer student-athletes who have gone on to other successes in life and who represent the College with distinction every day," said 10th-year Head Coach Reid Ayers, who is the winningest men's coach and second winningest women's coach in school history. 

"The nice part is that the kids get to meet the young men and women who have helped to build the Baldwin-Wallace program into one of the most respected programs in the OAC and in small college soccer in Ohio," continued Ayers.  "We will play some soccer, laugh and joke and have fun and enjoy a cookout afterwards. It is just a great day for our current student-athletes to bond and bond with our former players.  It also is a great networking opportunity for our kids."

The B-W men's soccer team opens its season on Saturday and Sunday, September 3-4 when they travel to Erie, Pennsylvania to compete in the four-team Penn State Behrend University Herb Lauffler Tournament. The Yellow Jackets open play against Elizabethtown (Pa.) University on Saturday, Sept. 3 at 12:30 p.m. The consolation and championship games will be played on Sunday, Sept. 4 at 10:00 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., respectively.  The first home match is on Tuesday, Sept. 6 against traditional rival Oberlin College in Finnie Stadium at 7:00p.m.

The Yellow Jacket women open their season on Sunday, Sept. 4 against Penn State Behrend at 4:00 p.m.  The first home match is on Tuesday, Sept. 13 versus Hiram College at 7:00 p.m.
