BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: As a senior in 2013-2014, Drew will compete in his fourth season of baseball and will look to earn his fourth varsity letter. 

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Drew has had a solid baseball career thus far. B-W has recorded a 71-43 record during his first three seasons in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Drew is hitting .224 (26-for-116) with 14 runs scored, six doubles, four triples, one homerun, 21 RBI and is three-for-four in stolen base attempts.

As a freshman in 2011, Drew played in his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. For the season, Drew appeared in 25 games, getting 23 starts as a designated hitter or at first base.  He hit .175 (10-of-57) with 12 runs scored, one double, two triples, and a homerun.  He also knocked in eight runs and had a .310 on-base percentage.  Defensively, Drew finished the season with a .949 fielding percentage. B-W finished with an overall record of 17-17.

As a sophomore in 2012, Drew played in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter. For the season, Drew appeared in 16 games, starting 10 of them. He hit .325 (13-of-40) with 8 runs scored, two doubles, two triples, and drove in 11 RBI. B-W finished with a school-record 27 wins for an overall record of 27-13.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Drew competed in his third season of baseball and earned his third varsity letter.  He appeared in 12 games and started four of them.  Drew batted .158 (3-of-19) with one run scored, three doubles, and drove in two RBI.  He helped BW to tie the single-season school-record for wins with 27 and compile a 27-13 overall record.

As a senior in 2013-14, Drew will compete in his fourth season of baseball and will try to earn his fourth varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Drew Mahler grew up in Wooster, Ohio and graduated from Wooster High School. Drew played baseball for four years and earned four varsity letters.  He also competed in football for four years and basketball for three years. He earned two varsity letters in each sport, respectively.

In baseball as a junior, Drew was named as a second-team All-Ohio Cardinal Conference performer. As a senior, he was tabbed as a first-team All-OCC selection, and was an honorabale mention All-District performer. Drew was named Wooster's Most Valuable Player for his outstanding play and leadership as was he was also a team captain his senior year.  In football as a senior, he was named as an honorable mention All-OCC selection. In basketball as a senior, Drew was selected by his coaches  as a team captain.
