GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Charlie has had a solid baseball career thus far. BW has recorded 54-26 record following his second season in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Charlie
has appeared in three varsity games and pitched three innings and has recorded three strikeouts.
As a freshman in 2012, Charlie competed in his first season of baseball and saw playing time on both junior varsity and varsity squads. In varsity action, Charlie appeared twice and totaled two innings pitched. He had an earned run average of 4.50 and allowed one earned run while recording one strike out. For his efforts, Charlie earned a certificate of participation.
As a sophomore in 2012-13, Charlie played in his second season of baseball and saw playing time on both junior varsity and varsity squads. HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Charlie Jones grew up in Kettering, Ohio and graduated from Fairmount High School. Charlie played four years of baseball and basketball. He was a three-year letter winner in baseball and earned two in basketball.
In baseball, Charlie was named to the second-team All-Greater Western Ohio Conference (Central Division) as a pitcher. He also was named as the Sherm Bowser Award winner, which is given to the top male student-athlete at Fairmont.
