BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  As a senior in 2013-14, Joe will play in his fourth season of baseball and will look to earn his third varsity letter.  

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION:  As a freshman in 2010-2011, Joe played in his first season of baseball and earned a certificate of participation for his efforts.  He appeared in three games, starting in one.  He had four at-bats and finished the season with a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage.  B-W posted an overall record of 17-17.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Joe played in his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. Joe appeared in 22 games, starting 13 of them. He hit for an average of .278 (15-of-54) with 13 runs scored, five doubles, and 14 RBI. Joe had an on-base percentage of .414 and stole five bases on the year. He helped B-W win a school-record 27 games to go 27-13 on the year.  

As a junior in 2012-13, Joe played in his third season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter.  He appeared in 24 games, starting 19 of them.  Joe batted .288 (19-of-66), with 13 runs scored, four doubles, one triple, one home run, and had 11 RBI.  Joe had an on -base percentage of .424 and stole two bases on the year.

As a senior in 2013-14, Joe will compete in his fourth season of baseball and will try to earn his third varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Joe Hiller grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio abd graduated from Twinsburg High School. Joe played four years of baseball and four years of football and earned three varsity letters in both sports, respectively.

In baseball as a senior,  Joe was named as a first-team All-Northeast Ohio Conference performer. Statistically, Joe recorded a batting average of .412 his senior year. In football as a senior, Joe was selected as a first-team All-NOC, second-team All-District, and Cable Nine Player-of-the-Year for his outstanding performance on the field.
