BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION:  Brad Gugliotta played his third season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University in the spring of 2013. He earned his second varsity letter and started at third base.

ACADEMIC HONORS:  As a junior in 2012-2013, Brad was named as a first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District IV student-athlete and will appear on the national CAPITAL ONE Academic All-America ballot.  As a sophomore in 2011-2012, he was named as a Jacket Scholar.

BASEBALL HONORS:  As a junior in 2012-2013, Brad was named as both the Ohio Athletic Conference and NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association) Player of the Week on April 8, 2013 for his efforts in batting .667 (12-for-18) and driving in 11 runs (11 RBI) in five games.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Brad was one of the top infielders in the OAC as a junior. He will enter his senior season in 2013-2014 with an outstanding .394 (76-for-193) career batting average with 45 runs scored, nine doubles, two triples, 55 RBI and 12 stolen bases in 14 attempts.  When needed, Brad could play anywhere in the infield.

As a freshman in 2010-2011, Brad played in his first season of baseball and received a Certificate of Participation.  He appeared in eight varsity games as a utility (second base, shortstop or third base) and started once. Brad hit .250 (1-for-4).  B-W finished 17-17. For his efforts, Brad earned a certificate of participation.

As a sophomore in 2011-2012, Brad played in his second season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in 24 games as a utility infielder, started 11, and hit .429 (24-of-56) with eight runs scored, two doubles, one triple, one stolen base and 17 runs batted-in (RBI). He helped B-W win a school-record 27 games to finish 27-13 overall.

As a junior in 2012-2013, Brad played his third season of baseball and earned his second letter.  He was named as the NCBWA (National Collegiate Baseball Writer's Association) National Division III and the Ohio Athletic Conference Hitter of the Week on April 8, 2013.He was 12-for-18 at the plate (.667 batting average) with 11 RBI. For the season, he batted .383 (51-for-133) to rank second on the team.  He also scored 37 runs, had seven doubles, one triple, a team-leading 3 RBI and 11 stolen bases in 13 attempts.  Brad was named as a first-team CAPITAL ONE Academic All-District VII selection and advanced to the national CAPITAL ONE Academic All-America ballot.  BW finished 27-13 overall and tied the school single season record for victories.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:   Brad Gugliotta grew up in Twinsburg, Ohio and graduated from Twinsburg High School.  He played four years of baseball and earned two varsity letters. He also played football as a freshman but did not earn a letter.

In baseball as a senior, Brad was selected for the Greater Cleveland Baseball Coaches Association All-Star game for his outstnading play. Statistically, he hit.455 and had one home run as a senior.
