BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Zach Ferster completed his second season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University in the spring of 2013.  He has earned two varsity letters.

ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshman in 2012, Zach was named as a first-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Zach has had a solid baseball career thus far. BW has recorded 54-26 record following his second season in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Zach is hitting .311 (66-for-212), nine doubles, four triples, two home runs, and 42 RBI. Zach is also was 27-for-30 in stolen bases and has drawn 16 walks.

As a freshman in 2012, Zach competed in his first season of baseball and earned his first varsity letter. He appeared in all 40 games, while starting 36 of them. On the season, Zach had an average of .344 (42-for-122), four doubles, four triples, two home runs, and 30 RBI. Zach also was 9-for-12 in stolen bases and was second on the team in walks with 16. Zach was named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference first-team for his outstanding play on the year. B-W set a school-record with 27 wins as they finished with an overall record of 27-13.

As a sophomore in 2012-13, Zach played in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter.  He appeared in in 30 games and started 26 of them.  He batted .267 (24-of-90), with 21 runs, five doubles, and had 12 RBI.  Zach also finished 18-of-18 in strolen bases on the season.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION:Zach Ferster grew up in Olmsted Falls, Ohio and graduated from Olmsted Falls High School. Zach played four years of football and baseball and earned three varsity letters in both sports, respectively.

In football as a senior, Zach was named as a first-team All-South West Conference, All-District and third-team All-Ohio selection for his great play on the field. In baseball as a junior and senior, Zach was named first-team All-SWC, but just following his senior year, he was named as a second-team All-Ohio performer.
