BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Kyle Chontos played his seond season of baseball for Baldwin Wallace University in the spring of 2013.  He has earned two varsity letters. 

ATHLETIC HONORS: As a freshman in 2012, Kyle was named as a second-team All-Ohio Athletic Conference selection. Kyle also received the Most Outstanding Freshman Award and the Big Stick Award, as decided on by the B-W coaching staff.

GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: Kyle has had a solid baseball career thus far. BW has recorded 54-26 record following his second season in the Brown & Gold. For his career, Kyle is hitting .327 (93-for-284), 23 doubles, two triples, five home runs and has 67 RBI's as well. He  also has scored 68 runs, drawn 47 walks and has been hit by 15 pitches.

As a freshman in 2012, Kyle competed in his first season of baseball. He appeared in 40 games and started all of them. On the season, Kyle had an average of .353 (54-for-153), 14 doubles. and 1 triple. Chontos led the team with four home runs and RBI's with 4 and 37 respectively. He was also second on the team in runs scored with 42. Kyle recieved the Most Outstanding Freshman Award and the Big Stick Award, as decided on by the B-W coaching staff. Kyle was named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference second-team for his outstanding play on the year.  B-W set a school-record with their 27 wins and a 27-13 record.

As a sophomore in 2012-13, Kyle competed in his second season of baseball and earned his second varsity letter.  He appeared in 40 games and started 39 of them.  Kyle batted .298 (39-of-131), with 26 runs, nine doubles, one triple, one home run, and drove in 30 RBI.  He helped BW to tie the single-season school-record for wins with 27 and compile a 27-13 overall record.  

As a junior in 2013-14, Kyle will compete in his third season of baseball and will try to earn his third varsity letter.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Kyle Chontos grew up in Pickerington, Ohio and graduated from Pickerington North High School. Kyle played four years of baseball and earned two varsity letters.

In baseball as a senior, Kyle was named first-team All-Ohio, first-team All-Ohio Capital Conference and first-team All-Central District (Division I). He also was invited to play in the Mizuno Senior All-Star Series in Chillicothe for his outstanding play on the field. For Division I, he was tabbed first-team All-State selection as well. Statistically as a senior, Kyle batted .461 with two homeruns and 27 runs batted-in.
