BALDWIN WALLACE ATHLETICS INFORMATION: Alex Albright played his freshman season of baseball at Baldwin Wallace University in the spring of 2013 and earned his first varsity letter.
GENERAL BASEBALL INFORMATION: As a freshman, Alex was a varsity starting pitcher. He made five total appearances, including four as a starter, and had a 2-1 record with a 8.27 earned run average. He pitched 20 and two-third innings, allowed 31 base hits, 26 runs (19 earned), struck out 15 and walked 14. Alex helped the Yellow Jackets compile a 27-13 overall record and tie the single-season school-record for victories.
As a sophomore in 2013-2014, Alex will return to battle for the role of "ace" of the pitching staff.
ACADEMIC INFORMATION: Alex is a pre-physical therapy and athletic training major.

HOMETOWN & HIGH SCHOOL INFORMATION: Alex Albright grew up in North Royalton, Ohio and graduated from North Royalton High School. He played four years of baseball and lettered two times. Alex also played two years of basketball but did not earn a letter.
In baseball as a junior, Alex was a Tay Sach's Tournament All-Coaches first-team selecetion. Following his senior season, he was named a Northeast Ohio Conference honorable mention and as a Greater Cleveland Coaches Association All-Star selection.
Academically, Alex was a Northeast Ohio Conference Scholar-Athlete award winner following his junior and senior years.
